Gypsy Rose Blanchard isn’t finished with her personal makeover. Shortly after getting a nose job, she’s now had some work done on her teeth.
As The Blast has reported, Gypsy has been taking time to adjust to her new life after spending the last eight and a half years behind bars. After suffering years of abuse at the hands of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, Gypsy conspired with her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, to murder her mother.
Nicholas stabbed Dee Dee to death in her home, while Gypsy Rose was in a nearby room.
After serving her time, she is now serving in life as she undergoes a personal transformation.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard Is Still Going Through Her Personal Journey
Shortly after being released from prison, Gypsy Rose had a salon appointment, where she decided to get blonde highlights and a fresh new manicure.
Three months after being released from prison, she announced her separation from Ryan Anderson. “Unfortunately, my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents’ home down the bayou. I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart,” she said at the time. “Right now, I need time to let myself find… who I am.”

Gypsy Rose Blanchard Debuts Brand-New Smile
The ex-convict visited the dentist and had her silver teeth replaced with fresh porcelain caps. Her new teeth were on full display as she chatted on the phone with a big smile plastered across her face.
While it is unclear why Gypsy had silver teeth, it is likely a result of the abuse she endured by her mom.
According to the American Dental Association, Gypsy’s teeth were likely decayed, due to a combination of poor dental hygiene, malnutrition, and the many unnecessary medications she was taking.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard Believed To Be A Victim
While she served time in prison, many have rallied behind Gypsy Rose as she is believed to be a victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy — a psychological disorder where a caregiver fabricates or induces illness in another person for sympathy and attention.
As told in the documentary, ‘Mommy, Dead, And Dearest,’ Dee Dee subjected Gypsy Rose to unnecessary medical treatments, surgeries, and medications. Gypsy Rose underwent procedures such as having a feeding tube inserted, undergoing surgeries to remove her salivary glands, and taking unnecessary medications that caused side effects and health complications.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard Describes Doctor Visits
Dee Dee also manipulated Gypsy Rose into believing she had several medical conditions, which led her to believe she needed a feeding tube and a wheelchair, among many other things.
“I always had this stuffed animal or a Barbie doll, [and Dee Dee would] just tell me [to] ‘play with your Barbie doll, and when the doctor comes to examine me, just stay in the wheelchair; be calm; play with your doll, and don’t move your legs,’ ” Gypsy revealed of her doctor visits.
“I was just as much in the dark as much as everyone else,” Gypsy stated in the 2017 documentary. “[The] only thing I knew is that I could walk. As for everything else, the leukemia the epilepsy, I was taking medication that [Dee Dee] said was cancer medicine.”

Over the course of nine years, Dee Dee took Gypsy Rose to the hospital over 100 times, per medical records shown in the documentary.
Dee Dee Blanchard Profited From Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s False Medical Conditions
As told in the 2017 documentary, Dee Dee received financial benefits and donations from charitable organizations, such as Make-A-Wish Foundation, due to Gypsy Rose’s false medical conditions.
She used Gypsy Rose’s fake illnesses to gain sympathy and financial support, a symptom of Munchausen syndrome by proxy.
After the now 32-year-old discovered the abuse she was enduring, she conspired with her then-boyfriend to help murder her mother. Dee Dee was stabbed to death in her home.
Gypsy ultimately pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. She completed 85% of her sentence and was released from prison on parole in December 2023.
