Gypsy Rose Blanchard is continuing her journey outside of prison, revealing her next big step is to get cosmetic surgery.
The 32-year-old, who spent the last seven years behind bars for murdering her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. She is currently out on parole, but that isn’t stopping her from experiencing some of the “normal” things such as grabbing a bite to eat at McDonald’s, getting a tattoo, and soon, getting a nose job.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard Wants Cosmetic Surgery
Gypsy, who is believed to be a victim of Munchausen by proxy, is trying to get a normal life back after she endured years of abuse from her mom and then spent seven years behind bars. While she is going through a separation from her husband, Ryan Anderson, she has decided to do something for her — get a nose job.
“I’m going through a personal transformation journey currently and that includes a physical one, too,” she told PEOPLE. “Wish me luck with my surgery and watch the whole thing this summer on ‘Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up’,” which will air on Lifetime in June.

A close friend of Gypsy’s, Nadiya Vizier, says the procedure is something Gypsy has wanted for a while. “She said she’s a bit nervous, but she’s happy it’s going to be done,” Vizier told the outlet. “The main thing is that she wanted a more feminine-looking nose. She just wants to fix it up and give it a more feminine look.”

Let Gypsy Rose Blanchard Live Her Life
Ever since her prison release, many have been following along with Gypsy’s journey, with some judging her for certain choices she has made. Her friend has had enough and her “main message is to just, people need to let her live, let her experience, if they know that she’s doing something good or wrong, let her experience that.”
Vizier added, “Let her learn from it. I feel like in a way, people are still trying to control her.”
Gypsy’s friend said she will likely be resting for two weeks post-nose job.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard Takes Accountability
This comes after Gypsy addressed her haters online, admitting she is not perfect, but she is trying her best.
“I’m sorry. I’m learning. I take accountability for my part,” Blanchard said in a now deleted TikTok video. “I did a bad thing. But I’ve also been given a second chance at life. So please give me a little grace. Let my actions match my words, and we’ll go from there.”
“When that day finally came, I’m not gonna lie, feeling freedom for the first time felt amazing,” she continued. “Everybody was so supportive at first, and it felt nice. I’m going to be honest, I got carried away in the hype of everything.”

Gypsy Rose Blanchard Separates From Her Husband
This latest step in her personal journey comes just days after she announced she and her husband, Ryan Anderson, are going through a separation.
“People have been asking what is going on in my life. Unfortunately, my husband and I are going through a separation,” Gypsy wrote in a statement. “I moved in with my parents home down the bayou.”
The ex-convict went on to say, “I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now, I need time to let myself find… who I am.”
Ryan Anderson has yet to comment publicly about the separation.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Rumored To Be Dating Ex-Fiancé
Days after Gypsy announced her separation from Ryan, she was spotted hanging out with her ex-fiancé, Ken Urker. While many are speculating the two are dating, Ken says they are just friends.
“We’re just hanging out as friends that’s all it is,” he said in a newly uploaded video obtained by True Crime’s Natasha Cooper. He also confirmed Gypsy is not pregnant.
This is something Ken Urker’s mother, Raina Williams, also said. “They are not back together,” Williams told PEOPLE amid the speculation. “They’re very cool. Ken is just being a supportive friend to her and that’s it.”
“I think she’s a sweet girl,” she added. “I think she’s made her mistakes and she’s trying to learn from them like anyone else. And I care a lot for Gypsy and I want to see good things happen for her.”
