Healy’s Mom Jokes She Hadn’t ‘Heard Anything’ About Swift’s Album
Welch appeared on an episode of British talk show, “Loose Women,” on Thursday. Welch, an actress and TV host in her own right, gave a sly response when first questioned about the album.
“I wasn’t aware she had an album out at all. I haven’t heard anything about it,” she joked, according to E! News.
“I wish her all the best,” Welch added.
While Welch has met Swift, and has posted photos of them together on social media, it looks like she’s making it clear she has her sons back in this scenario by not adding fuel to the fire.

Healy And Swift’s Relationship History
Swift and Healy dated briefly last summer following her split from longtime boyfriend, Joe Alwyn. It wasn’t the first time Swift and Healy had connected, however. They’d been linked together off and on since at least 2014 after having met backstage in Los Angeles at one of his concerts with his band, The 1975. Though they denied dating rumors, and dated other people, fans always wondered about where Healy and Swift stood.
In 2016, Healy again denied having a relationship with Swift, downplaying their time together.

“So the one time I did have a flirtation with a girl, it ends up going everywhere…I mean, I got on E! News and people were like, ‘Who’s Matt Healy?’ so that was cool. Healy And Swift Reunite Post Alwyn Breakup
Cut to 2023. While Swift’s relationship with Alwyn was ending, she and Healy again sparked dating rumors after being spotted at each other’s shows. Healy’s reputation as a “bad boy” concerned fans, but Swift didn’t seem to mind.
After the album’s release, most fans expected the bulk of her album to be about her relationship with Alwyn. However, a lot of material suggests Swift is actually talking about Healy in her songs, including “Guilty as Sin?,” “But Daddy I Love Him,” “Down Bad,” “The Black Dog,” “I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can),” and “Fresh Out the Slammer.”
Healy Says He Hasn’t Heard Her Album Yet
“The singer was approached by a photographer who questioned him about ‘his diss track’ on the album and how he ranks it among the other 30 songs. Healy initially seemed confused by the question before finally answering that he had yet to ‘listen’ to his ex-girlfriend’s new album. ‘I haven’t really listened to that much of it,’ Healy said, per TMZ. ‘But I’m sure it’s good.’”
