Mental health: Thank you for sharing challenges

Re: “For WA patients with serious mental illness, this little-known right may get stronger” [Feb. 18, Mental Health]:

My hat goes off to The Seattle Times Mental Health Project; Andrea Boyd, mother of a son doing his best to live with his schizophrenia diagnosis; and reporter Hannah Furfaro.

Many people struggle with little-known, often invisible challenges in their lives. When people are willing to share those challenges, we all gain strength and knowledge of how to deal with our own challenges. Thank you for being willing to share, Andrea Boyd.
