Swift’s personal trainer, Kirk Myers, known for his gym Dogpound, has opened up about the intense fitness routine the music star used for her Eras Tour.
In a recent interview with Vogue magazine after Swift’s new album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” was released, he opened up about the singer’s “tailored” routine.
Myers said, “We approached her training for the Eras Tour with the mindset like a professional athlete. There was an ‘off-season’ when she wasn’t touring and ‘in-season’ when she was.”
He explained that ahead of the concert’s official opening in March 2023, Swift worked out “six days a week for sometimes two hours a day.”

Kirk Myers Says ‘It’s Incredible’ To Work With The Singer
According to Swift’s trainer, her off-season workout routine focused mainly on strength, core work, and conditioning.
This training was what reportedly helped the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer with her hours of singing and dancing onstage during her “Eras Tour.”
Myers heaped high praise on Swift and her work ethic, saying it’s “incredible” to work with her.
He noted, “I’m ready to be known as ‘Taylor Swift’s trainer.’ I don’t think there’s a cooler title out there. It’s super-inspiring to see her consistently overcome obstacles and become better and stronger in the end.”

‘Some People Would Throw Up’ If They Had To Train Like Taylor Swift
Swift keeps in shape with the cardio from her intense stage dance routines. The choreographer for her Eras Tour, Mandy Moore, spoke to PageSix last year about their work together.
She said that she and Swift worked on a “ton of numbers in a very short amount of time” and revealed that the singer was always ready to “practice whatever.”
During his chat with Vogue, Myers discussed Swift’s stage choreography and how it affects her fitness.
He said, “If you’ve seen the show, you know how intense it is physically. Imagine doing that three, four days in a row and then you finally have a few off days and you’re still showing up to gym. That’s Taylor.”

Taylor Swift Worked On Cardio By Herself
Myers told Vogue that Swift is so dedicated that she works on cardio outside the gym in her personal time.
The “Delicate” singer previously said that her cardio routine includes singing her 44-song Eras Tour setlist while running “fast for fast songs, and a jog or a fast walk for slow songs.”
Myers further revealed that Swift has continued to maintain her routine throughout the tour. He spoke about the shift to her schedule during the “in-season training” and said they’d work together on an average of “two times a week.”
Myers explained that they shifted her routines according to her body’s needs. He said the in-season regimen was created to focus more on maintenance of the “Clean” singer’s body, with more emphasis on “stability, mobility [and] biomechanics.”
The Singer Also Works Out With Her Boyfriend, NFL Star Travis Kelce
Myers’ reveal about Swift’s workout routine comes shortly after she and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, were spotted at Dogpound in Los Angeles.
The celebrity couple reportedly shut down the gym for a private workout session together. This caused an uproar online, with reports claiming they kept people outside waiting. The gym has since, however, slammed the claims as false.
Kelce, the well-known Kansas City Chiefs tight end, recently joked about gaining a bit of weight as the NFL is in its offseason.
However, the pro footballer also has an intense workout plan and trainer that he follows strictly. His trainer, Laurence Justin Ng, recently revealed that his routine consists of explosive knee drives into uphill sprints, banded exercises, and plenty more.
