“One moment you’re relieved, feeling like you’ve conquered something significant. Then suddenly, waves of emotions hit you all over again. It’s a side of divorce that isn’t often discussed, especially when there are kids involved.”

Another shared, “Yes!!!!!! I was married 20 years before I finally found it within me to leave. It’s so hard but so necessary. Us women get the short end of the stick too often. We sacrifice everything for so little for ourselves in return. We are nurturers and givers. Many times people take too much. Sometimes you just want to have your level of effort reciprocated and appreciated. Love following you.”
One other person added, “Wow needed this!!! It’s so frowned upon which makes it hard to talk about. Thank you for sharing your journey.”
